Red rock canyon

Well yesterday we went on the red rock canyon tour and it was amazing and I would highly recommend this to anyone going Vegas .... Our tour guide mark was great picked us up at the hotel and then dropped us back ...

We went as far as 5000 feet above sea level to the point in winter that place is covered in feet of snow yet it's so hot today ... And believe it or not if we wanted too only 40 mins away we could go skiing ... I know in Nevada but up on those mountains there is snow and lots of it ...

Later in the evening we went to eat at a place called olives very nice but not cheap and be careful they bring out bread and olives for you to try but we were warned that its not free and you will be charged if you eat it ... For a meal a cocktail and a dessert it cost us around $55 each so be warned it is more high end and the restaurant is at the Bellagio and if you can try and book well in advanced and for the patio so you can get a great view of the fountains at night .... We however did not get to sit there as it was so busy but we got to see them afterwards outside and they were amazing.... Another place I have heard for a great view is at the eiffel tower ....

Also check out the gardens inside the Bellagio it's not to be missed and its all free too ..... thanks to the Marco Polo Las Vegas guidebook which informed us of some of these fab places ....

Then after that we walked up the strip back towards our hotel and stopped and one or two shops before crashing out in our hotel for the night ....

We went inside the Wynm and the flower gardens inside where amazing and so pretty ...... Then we went to the Venetian which was spectacular the ceilings as you can see where out of this world then we walked through the Italian plaza in the Venetian where we had a gondola ride which was a lot of fun and not bad for $19 each we had some songs sung to us ..... Even the famous one cornetto song which was so funny .....

Walking the strip

Walking the strip after breakfast some of the fantastic buildings and places we have seen so far on our first morning in Vegas .....

Walking to breakfast wow !!!!

Well we decided to catch the monorail down the strip $12 for the day which I think is pretty good price ..... We were heading to the wynm hotel as we have heard its fantastic it cost $21.61 with tax for all you can eat and I have never seen so much food in all my life they have breakfast for anyone going from Asian to grill to cakes to fruit as u can see from the pictures

MGM grand wow what a room ....

Finally after almost two days of travelling we made it woo hoo very tired and hungry so we dropped off all our stuff and crashed out for a mo .....

After a quick timeout we went to get some grub and went for some pizza pie !

Had a quick look round the hotel it is massive has nearly 7000 rooms and very busy as the basketball champions is currently on this weekend .....

Will take photos if hotel soon once we are recharged ....

Off too red rock canyon tour today .... At 12.45 our time can't wait .....
